Hello!! Here's some tips I found when it came to events:
Make sure you listen carefully to what the judge asks you, and if you can give some kind of an example!
Explain it to judge like you're ACTUALLY explaining it to a client. It takes a little bit of acting, lol
Be confident!!
You don't always need to answer immediately, take some time to think beforehand.
MAKE SURE YOU WRITE IMPORTANT STUFF ON YOUR PAPER BEFORE THE ROLE-PLAY!!! They give it to you for a reason!
Before you go and speak to the judge, take a deep breath. You got this! (even if you think you don't)
Prepare beforehand so you don't go completely blank.
Make your paper clean & concise! Don't add too much graphics, text, etc.
Make sure you rehearse plenty what you want to say beforehand.
Collaborate with your teammates often!! If you'd like, weekly meetings help.
Set up due dates for yourself and stay on track with our calendar so you don't fall behind.
Like for role-plays, be confident and act like you're on Shark Tank! (if that helps you)
(more tips coming soon!!)
